With the weather getting very HOT this week it is important in addition to drinking enough fluids to also replenish all of the electrolytes that our body loses through sweat. Electrolytes are ion-rich minerals and salts that contribute to osmotic balance, they help our bodies optimize fluid levels. The primary electrolytes include sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, and phosphate.
